New to Temu? The advertised Black Friday app promotion offers a 40%-off code and a €200 coupon bundle for eligible first-time app users. For the euro-denominated discount offer, the key limits are orders over €20, a maximum saving of €24, and code redemption within one hour of the first app download. Local offers and amounts may differ.
Offer summary
Search aal03170 in the Temu app within one hour of your first download. The euro-denominated 40% offer applies to orders over €20, with a €24 maximum discount. You must download and sign in to the app for the first time; reinstalling does not qualify. The €200 coupon bundle is a separate benefit, not €200 off one order. Benefits cannot be combined in the same order. Check the offer displayed for your country before buying.

| €200 coupon bundle | First-time app users can receive the bundle through the link after their first download. Inspect each coupon’s spend requirement and expiry; it is not one €200 discount. |

How to check the 40% code in the Temu app
1. Search within the first hour. Download the Temu app, sign in for the first time and search aal03170 within one hour of the first download. The rules reviewed show no discount coupon available when the code is redeemed after that first hour. This activation window is not a confirmed checkout deadline; check the coupon’s own expiry once received.
2. Check whether you qualify. The discount and coupon bundle require a first-time app download and first-time sign-in. If you installed the app before, deleting and reinstalling it does not make you eligible for these new-user benefits. Do not confuse separate affiliate commission rules with shopper eligibility.
3. Check the cap before paying. The euro-denominated discount applies to orders over €20 and saves at most €24. For example, 40% of an eligible €30 order is €12; an eligible €60 order reaches the €24 cap, so a larger order does not increase that maximum saving. Check the eligible order value, coupon expiry and final delivered total in checkout. Amounts and conditions can differ by country.
What does a €200 coupon bundle actually mean?
Illustration of a coupon collection and eligible purchases—not a Temu screenshot, verified bundle breakdown or redeemed offer.
Temu’s affiliate rules say first-time app users can receive the €200 bundle through the referral link after their first download. Treat it as a collection of conditional coupons, not cash or €200 removed from any basket. Read the value, minimum spend, expiry and eligible items on each coupon; the dashboard does not list the individual coupon breakdown.
Illustration only: four €50 coupons would add up to €200, but could each require a separate qualifying order. This is not the advertised bundle’s verified breakdown; your account may show different amounts and requirements.
The useful saving is the amount you can apply to purchases you already intended to make. Temu’s referral-benefit rules state that benefits cannot be combined or stacked within the same order. Do not add the 40% discount, the coupon-bundle headline and a gift value together as one saving.
The €0 gift offer is a different campaign
The gift promotion uses alq324392 and the separate gift link. Temu’s rules say app users can place qualifying orders to earn progress and receive a specified number of items after completing the required progress. The offer applies only on its activity page. Check the spending, progress target, reward selection and deadline displayed there; a €0 gift price does not make the paid items or delivery free.
For a fuller explanation of gift-with-purchase conditions, see our guide to Temu free gift offers. Do not transfer the discount campaign’s new-user rules to every gift campaign—or assume the gift campaign accepts your account without checking.
Are returns free for 90 days?
That headline needs qualification. Temu’s published policies allow returns for many eligible items within 90 days of purchase, with exceptions. Certain electronics can have 45- or 60-day windows, and some gifts or other items are excluded.
The first return from an order is generally the one with free return shipping under the policies reviewed; later separate returns can cost extra. Check your country’s policy and the product page before buying. This is a return policy, not an extension of the promotion’s redemption deadline.
Research notes
Research checked October 29, 2026. Advertisement and affiliate offer explainer. We checked Temu’s signed-in affiliate dashboard and its referral-benefit rules: first-time app eligibility, the one-hour code-redemption window, the euro offer’s over-€20 threshold and €24 discount cap, and the restriction on combining benefits in one order. These are the euro-denominated terms reviewed, not a promise of identical conditions worldwide. We have not redeemed the code or completed an order. Individual coupon values and expiry dates, the overall campaign end date and other local variants were not shown. Black Friday wording comes from the supplied promotional copy; the rules reviewed do not identify a separate Black Friday period. General and regional return policies are linked below.
