If a Temu coupon code is not working, start with the message on screen and the offer’s conditions. A code can be valid but unsuitable for your account, items or basket. Find the matching situation below before trying another promotion or adding more purchases.

Then compare both minimums: the coupon’s spending requirement and the amount needed to place the order after the discount. Entering a code or opening a referral link does not prove that a saving has reached checkout.

Where should you enter a Temu coupon code?
Temu’s coupon-redemption guidance directs shoppers to Coupons & offers in their account. Its tabs separate unused, used and expired coupons; an ordinary new coupon code can be entered in the field on the Unused tab and applied. Some coupons require the app.
An affiliate activity code can have a different route. For the campaigns linked here, the supplied instructions say to search the code in the app. Follow the instructions for that particular code rather than assuming every code belongs in the checkout box.
Check the selected coupon and final payable total before payment. A promotion page opening successfully is not the same as a discount being applied.
Why can a coupon qualify but checkout still refuse the order?
Temu’s help centre distinguishes the coupon’s spending threshold from the minimum required to place an order. The amount remaining after the coupon must still meet the applicable order minimum.
Hypothetical example: suppose a coupon saves €5 on a €20 basket, but checkout requires at least €20 after the discount. The coupon threshold is met, yet the payable amount is €15. An eligible €25 basket would leave €20 after that coupon. These figures illustrate the calculation; they are not universal Temu minimums.
Compare the result with shopping without the coupon. Adding €5 of unwanted items to unlock a €5 saving does not reduce what you pay in this example.

A first-download offer is not automatically a returning-customer offer. The aal03170 promotion reviewed for our app discount and coupon guide required first-time download and sign-in, with a one-hour code-redemption window. Reinstalling did not qualify under those reviewed terms. Those conditions are not a universal deadline for every Temu coupon.
If your account does not qualify, try an offer explicitly available to you rather than repeating a new-user code. Our existing-app-user gift guide explains a separate activity, with qualifying purchases and account-specific eligibility. It does not promise a gift for every returning shopper.
Check restrictions, expiry and the discount actually applied
Coupon details can exclude categories or local-warehouse items; campaign rules can also restrict additional coupons. Inspect the relevant conditions rather than assuming the entire basket qualifies.
Temu says one coupon can be used per order and its system selects an optimal available coupon. Check which one is selected instead of adding two headline savings together.
For an expired coupon, Temu’s regional help guidance says eligible customers can contact support within 60 days to request reactivation. That is a request, not a guarantee: some coupon types cannot be reactivated, including coupons revoked for ineligibility. Check the guidance for your own market.
Still not working? Give support the useful details
Save the exact error message, code, coupon conditions and a screenshot of the relevant checkout amounts. Tell Temu support whether you are using the app or website and which step fails. Hide payment details and unrelated personal information in any screenshots.
Ask a specific question: “My coupon shows [condition], my eligible basket is [amount], and checkout says [message]. Which requirement is not met?” That is more useful than cycling through unrelated codes.
