A small desk runs out of room fast. A monitor, keyboard, phone, cables and headphones can take up all of it. The fix is usually not a bigger desk. It is using the space above, below and behind what you already have.
We picked seven Temu listings, one for each common small-desk problem. For each one we checked the listing details, buyer reviews and stated sizes. We have not tested these products in person. Where a listing does not give a size or load limit, we say so.

Quick picks
Monitor and desktop storage: monitor riser with drawer
Cables under the desk: no-drill steel cable tray
Cables on the desk: 11-piece adhesive cable clips
Headphones: wooden headphone stand
Phone: adjustable foldable phone stand
Desk surface: two-sided PU leather desk mat
Hidden storage: adhesive under-desk drawer
1. Monitor riser with drawer
A riser lifts your screen and gives you a shelf underneath for a keyboard, notebook or small items. This one adds a pull-out drawer and a phone slot on top. According to the listing photos, it is about 49.5 × 18 × 11.5 cm (19.5 × 7.1 × 4.5 in).
Check first: the board is listed as PVC, not solid wood, and you assemble it yourself. The listing does not state a weight limit. Measure your monitor's stand base: it needs to fit on an 18 cm (7 in) deep top.

Monitor riser with drawer
About 49.5 cm wide. Good for a light monitor and a little extra storage. No weight limit stated.
2. No-drill under-desk cable tray
A cable tray holds your power strip and spare cable under the desk, so the mess leaves the floor and the desktop. This steel tray clamps to the desk instead of screwing in. It had one of the higher ratings of the seven at the time we checked.
Check first: the listing photos show 30, 40 and 50 cm (about 12, 16 and 20 in) lengths, in white or black. Match the length to your power strip. Clamp trays also need a desk edge they can grip, so check your desktop thickness and any frame under it.
CABLES UNDER THE DESK · TEMU AFFILIATE LINK
Steel cable tray, no drilling
Clamp-on, 30 to 50 cm lengths. Measure your power strip before choosing the size.
3. Adhesive cable clips (11 pieces)
Small clips keep charging cables at the desk edge instead of falling behind it. This plastic set sticks on with adhesive pads and is one of the cheapest ways to tidy a desk. It had the most reviews of the cable items we checked.
Check first: adhesive holds best on smooth, clean surfaces. On rough wood or painted walls it may lose grip or leave residue when removed.
CABLES ON THE DESK · TEMU AFFILIATE LINK
11-piece cable clip set
Stick-on plastic clips for chargers and USB cables. Best on smooth surfaces.
4. Wooden headphone stand
Over-ear headphones take up a surprising amount of desk space when you lay them down. A stand moves them upward into a small footprint. This wooden stand also has a slot for a phone and a small tray for earbuds or keys. It was rated highly by buyers.
Check first: the version in the main photo has a printed gaming slogan, so check which design you are ordering. One buyer notes that some assembly is required. The listing text does not give the base size, so check the listing photos before you buy.

Wooden headphone stand
Headphones, phone and small items in one footprint. Check the printed design and base size.
5. Adjustable foldable phone stand
A phone stand keeps your screen readable and stops the phone from sliding around the desk. This ABS stand adjusts in height and angle and folds flat. It is listed for devices from about 4.7 to 13 inches (11.94–33.02 cm). It had the most reviews of all seven picks.
Check first: treat it as a phone stand. One buyer said it could not hold their tablet's weight, even though tablets are in the listed range. The photos show more than one colour, so pick the colour you want before checkout.

Adjustable phone stand
Folds flat and adjusts height and angle. Best for phones. Heavier tablets may be too much.
6. Two-sided PU leather desk mat
A desk mat protects the surface, works as a large mouse pad and makes a small desk look tidier. This one is two-sided PU (polyurethane-coated) leather. It comes in 50 × 45, 80 × 30, 80 × 45 and 100 × 45 cm sizes (about 19.6 × 17.7 to 39.3 × 17.7 in).
Check first: pick the size from your desk, not from the photo. On a shallow desk, the 80 × 30 cm option leaves room in front of a riser. PU is faux leather, so expect it to wear differently from real leather.

Four sizes listed. Measure your desk's width and depth first.
7. Adhesive under-desk drawer
Desks without drawers lose small items to the surface. This walnut-look drawer sticks under the desktop and slides out for pens, cables and small tools. It is listed in medium and large sizes.
Check first: it is held up by adhesive, so keep it for light items. One listing photo gives a length of 21.5 cm (8.46 in); check which size you are ordering. Make sure it will not hit your knees or the desk frame.
HIDDEN STORAGE · TEMU AFFILIATE LINK
Stick-on under-desk drawer
Slide-out storage with no drilling. For light items only. Check knee clearance.
Before you order
Measure first: write down your desk's width, depth and thickness. Note the footprint of your monitor's stand and the length of your power strip. Most returns for desk accessories are sizing problems.
Check the exact variant: the cheapest option on a listing is often a different size or colour from the one in the main photo. Confirm the selected variant before checkout.
Monitor arm instead? If you want to free the whole desk surface, an arm can be better than a riser, but it needs a desk that can take a clamp. Our guide to what to measure when a monitor arm won't fit your desk covers this. If a discount code fails at checkout, see our Temu coupon troubleshooting guide.
Our verdict: start with the problem that bothers you most. On most small desks, that is cables or the monitor. A cable tray and clips, or a riser, usually free up more space than any other small purchase.
